Hi Naturist Volleyball Lovers At this point,it looks like the Sunny Glades tournament is off for next year. The Sunny Glades Tournament was the first tournament we had ever attended back in 2001. It has long been one of our favourite events of the year and a great club. Here is the letter from Stan and Clara Wortner, owners of Sunny Glades: Sent: Monday, August 09, 2010 8:19 PM Subject: SG volleyball tournament We would like to thank you all for your support during the nine years of Sunny Glades Annual Volleyball Tournaments. We greatly appreciate all the volunteers who worked hard to make sure all of the needs of our guest were met which included food, the washrooms, scheduling games, setting up of the equipment and general maintenance of the campground. Many have donated prizes for the tournament. We thank you for your support. Great job! We could not have done this each year without you. After a great deal of discussion and thought, we have decided that Sunny Glades will no longer continue to host a volleyball tournament in the future. Over the past few years, those who were keen on having a tournament have dropped away as members of the park. From a business perspective, we feel the members are no longer receiving enjoyment out of hosting a volleyball tournament. We have taken into consideration that ending the tournament will greatly disappoint some of our clients but we do not feel that it is in the best interest to the members who support the park on an annual basis with memberships to continue with the tournament. We also feel it is inappropriate to rely on the same volunteers each year to put in the long hours required to host a well-run tournament. Instead we wish to focus our attention to other events that may be more of an interest to the park members. We welcome those who are volleyball enthusiasts to continue to play and enjoy weekend games.
