Hi Naturist Volleyball Lovers
At this point,it looks like the Sunny Glades tournament is off for next
year. The Sunny Glades Tournament was the first tournament we had ever
attended back in 2001. It has long been one of our favourite events of
the year and a great club.
Here is the letter from Stan and Clara Wortner, owners of Sunny Glades:

Subject: SG volleyball tournament
We would like to thank you all for your support during the nine years of
Sunny Glades Annual Volleyball Tournaments. We greatly appreciate all the
volunteers who worked hard to make sure all of the needs of our guest were
met which included food, the washrooms, scheduling games, setting up of the
equipment and general maintenance of the campground. Many have donated
prizes for the tournament. We thank you for your support. Great job! We
could not have done this each year without you.
After a great deal of discussion and thought, we have decided that Sunny
Glades will no longer continue to host a volleyball tournament in the
future. Over the past few years, those who were keen on having a
tournament have dropped away as members of the park. From a business
perspective, we feel the members are no longer receiving enjoyment out of
hosting a volleyball tournament.
We have taken into consideration that ending the tournament will greatly
disappoint some of our clients but we do not feel that it is in the best
interest to the members who support the park on an annual basis with
memberships to continue with the tournament. We also feel it is
inappropriate to rely on the same volunteers each year to put in the long
hours required to host a well-run tournament. Instead we wish to focus our
attention to other events that may be more of an interest to the park
members.
We welcome those who are volleyball enthusiasts to continue to play and
enjoy weekend games.
If anyone wishes to express their thoughts and or concerns on this matter,
please come to the office and we would gladly discuss this further with
you.
Thank you,
Stanley & Clara Wortner
Hello Naturist Volleyball Mail list
I know this is off topic, but still an important event that looks like a
lot of fun. Here is an invite to the event through Facebook:
Event: The Top Freedom Day of Pride
Start Time: Saturday, August 28 at 2:00pm
End Time: Saturday, August 28 at 10:00pm
Location: Downtown Guelph
I believe this is actually becoming a universal issue. Not only do women
not exercise this right, but if you go to parks and beaches, men are more
apt to wear a t-shirt than not.
I was out with a textile group of friends recently and one woman was
complaining about her male neighbour cutting his lawn with his shirt off
and how inappropriate it was. I know the guy she spoke of and he is
actually in quite good shape, not that it should matter what shape you are
in to be top free. The group at the table were in agreement with her
opinion!
My leanings are towards no clothes at all, but we have to exercise the
rights we have or lose them! Use it or lose it!".
